Hi! I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, practicing for over 13 years. I dedicated my graduate education to researching attachment, and my post-graduate education to understanding the science of sleep as well as uncovering what it takes for women to thrive (and not just survive) in motherhood and marriage.
When I had my first baby, I was sleep deprived and felt SO overwhelmed. As I tried to figure out how to be a good mom, I felt lost in the contradictory and often “shame-y” information out there, especially about sleep. I knew there had to be a better way to connect with and teach parents without making them feel like sh*t.
So I set out to do ALL of the research and I created a method to optimize baby sleep that is tuned in, empowering and WORKS. There absolutely should be joy in motherhood, and I have learned that every baby CAN get better sleep!

She helped me figure out a schedule that would work for him and a strategy to get him to lengthen his naps. He’s consistently taking 1 hr+ naps at least once, usually twice a day, falling asleep independently in the crib and today even took a 2 hour nap which he has NEVER done in the crib before. I had a phone consultation with Susannah this morning and I CAN’T BELIEVE how instantly it has helped my baby sleep. He was getting better with naps until about 3-4 weeks ago when they completely fell apart; he would only sleep for 20 mins at a time independently and often cry a ton before and after. I was having to do contact naps for almost every nap just to get him to sleep. Susannah gave me a set of wake windows to try and as I’m sitting here typing this my baby’s second nap is at 1hr 10mins and counting. He has literally never once slept this long independently for the second nap. More than anything my confidence to deal with his naps is so much higher now because I feel like I know how to handle any situation that might happen. I also learned I was not aiming for enough day sleep for him, which makes sense because he is overtired at the end of every day; however, I might not have realized this as much advice online and in books says he needs the amount of day sleep he had been getting before my consultation. This is the best money I have ever spent (well, maybe tied with the Peaceful Sleeper’s sleep training course which had my baby sleeping 6:30PM-7AM with a dream feed within one week).
