The Details

Group sleep training will be held Thursday through Sunday. We’ll have a group call within the week before starting to get to know each other and set the foundation for success. Then, when we sleep train we’ll be on zoom every day for multiple blocks of time. It’ll be broken up into chunks throughout the day so we can cover tricky things like naps and bedtime no matter what time zone you’re in!

We’ll be on for 100% of bedtime and then we meet a couple of times during the day to answer your questions or troubleshoot naps.

Then, we’ll have a Zoom follow-up call after 1, 2, 4, and 8 weeks to ensure success. With over 20 hours of consultation time, you’ll be a pro by the end of it too. And most importantly, you’ll have the confidence and peace of mind knowing how to get great sleep for your little one!

Qualifications

Babies must be at least 16 weeks old and less than 12 months old to participate. For babies over 12 months, check out our individual consultation options by clicking here!

Most participants choose to do modified cry it out for this weekend format. We can, of course, modify as needed to your comfort level, though results may solidify less quickly.

Should I watch the video course before the group sleep training?

A

While it’s a good idea to watch the course beforehand, you’ll learn everything you need to know about sleep training your babe over the weekend.

What can I expect over the weekend?

A

Great question! You can expect to meet with me and the rest of the group 2-3 times per day and we’ll do bedtimes together from when the first baby is going to bed until the last baby is asleep. There will be a lot of video monitor watching and a lot of back and forth as we try to discern your baby’s needs and come up with a strategy that works for your baby and you. We’ll swap stories, laugh a lot, and be there to cheer each other on!

What if it doesn’t work?

A

While there isn’t a money-back guarantee, I’m committed to working with you until your baby is sleep-trained. This could mean follow-up calls after the group sleep training sessions are over. So far, we’ve had a 100% success rate.

Will my baby’s sleep be perfect after this weekend?

A

You’ll learn the initial, foundational skills over the weekend and then you’ll hop on follow-up calls in the coming weeks to button up problem areas. Every baby is unique and some can take longer than others, but we always see great progress!

Are you actually watching the monitor with me?

A

Even though it’s in a group setting, you will get personal attention and I will address your personal needs. This usually consists of you holding the monitor up to your webcam

Do I need to break bad habits before group sleep training?

A

No. One of the best times to break bad habits is during sleep training!

While sleep training did not “work immediately” for us as our little one was one of the few “tricky” babies, Chrissy gave us the gift of a support network.     Initially I was nervous for group sleep training – I wasn’t sure about the social aspect during a time that I knew would be emotional for me. Being an introverted person I didn’t want to have to force conversation. Having the group ended up being so helpful, and the social anxiety really wasn’t an issue. It was great to have other moms going through the process with me, and Ashley was great at leading the conversation so I never felt awkward. My son was the “difficult” baby out of the group, and it was so nice to have Ashley and the other moms in my corner cheering us on when he successfully initiated sleep on his own. In terms of results, after group sleep training my son has been able to initiate sleep at night and for all naps, something he was unable to do before. We used to have to spend hours a day rocking him to get him to sleep. He’s also sleeping unswaddled in his crib for all sleep, where before he was held for all naps and the first part of the night. In the time since the initial group sleep training weekend (we’re still in the process with follow-up calls) he’s now able to lengthen most naps and has typically had a couple of naps in the 90+ minute range each day. This process has truly changed our lives. We all get such better sleep, and my husband and I get free time together at night. I love the follow-up check-ins to continue improving his sleep, it really allows us to work on little things that end up making a big difference. If you’re on the fence about it I would encourage you to go for it. It’s an investment, but the personalized experience and no second-guessing makes it so worth it!
