Meet The Team

Chrissy Lawler

Welcome to The Peaceful Sleeper! My name is Christine Lawler. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, lover of sleep, and baby sleep consultant. I live in Las Vegas with my wonderful husband and four beautiful daughters, who are, thankfully, amazing sleepers. They weren’t born that way. Your babies can be amazing sleepers too!

I founded The Peaceful Sleeper for two main reasons: I recognize how critically important sleep is in all aspects of life, and I believe that many parents are under-informed or feel unnecessary guilt when it comes to sleep training and sleep coaching your baby. I want to help!

I’ve been practicing therapy for 13 years now, and I slowly started to realize that sleep issues were a common thread among all of my clients. So I got some additional training in advanced sleep medicine  and learned that many of the mental health challenges we (and our children) face today stem from inadequate sleep.

Meanwhile, I started having babies and realized that I functioned 1,000x better when I had slept. I read every book I could get my hands on about sleep training and realized that, though there are differences with every baby, there are a lot of universal truths about getting babies to sleep well. And, there are about a million reasons why it’s important that they do so.

My goal as a baby sleep consultant is to take the stress out of sleep training and get everyone in the family a good night’s rest. I’m here to help you enjoy motherhood–not just endure it.

Ashley Moore

Hi! I’m Ashley Moore. I live in Utah with my husband and toddler son. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Family Life Sciences. I left the corporate world when my son was born, and became a full time stay at home mother. I love to quilt, read, play outside and, when I can, run away to the coast and bury my feet in the sand!

I “met” Chrissy when my son was a newborn and we weren’t sleeping. As I learned her methods, I knew I had found my sleep home; her approach felt natural, intuitive and empowering.

I have since been trained by Chrissy to work as a baby sleep consultant. I joined The Peaceful Sleeper team because I believe in this work. Sleep training often gets a bad rap, but there are fundamental, universal principles involved that you can lean on to both foster necessary skills and to reset whenever regressions and teething and sickness derail sleep. I am so energized watching these little humans grow, gaining greater independence and witnessing parents reclaim their own lives and sleep.

I have had the pleasure to help many moms and dads figure out the sleep “sweet spot” for their own babies. Every child is different, with their own specific needs and personalities; I love that, no matter the baby, these principles work, we just need to find your baby’s “sweet spot.”

I can’t wait to help you feel empowered to be your own child’s personal sleep expert!

Hello! My name is Susannah and I’m a licensed pediatric speech language pathologist and sleep consultant. Working with children with developmental delays and their caregivers, I noticed a consistent theme with several of my clients – no one was sleeping! I realized I wasn’t able to support chronically overtired children with their communication and feeding goals if sleep wasn’t first addressed. When I learned of the foundational principles of sleep training and passed them on to my clients, I watched these amazing babies flourish! Nothing brings me more joy than watching a well-rested child explore their world, achieve developmental milestones, and develop happy, healthy relationships with their caregivers.

I believe parents are the experts on their children and I’m eager to team with you to create an individualized plan to help you and your little one get to sleeping! I have extensive experience working with children with developmental disabilities and medical diagnoses.

I live in beautiful Seattle, Washington. I enjoy running with my local running group, traveling locally and internationally, skiing, tending to my houseplants, riding my bike, and eating cheese every single day. Can’t wait to meet you!
