Hi! I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, practicing for over 13 years. I dedicated my graduate education to researching attachment, and my post-graduate education to understanding the science of sleep as well as uncovering what it takes for women to thrive (and not just survive) in motherhood and marriage.
When I had my first baby, I was sleep deprived and felt SO overwhelmed. As I tried to figure out how to be a good mom, I felt lost in the contradictory and often “shame-y” information out there, especially about sleep. I knew there had to be a better way to connect with and teach parents without making them feel like sh*t.
So I set out to do ALL of the research and I created a method to optimize baby sleep that is tuned in, empowering and WORKS. There absolutely should be joy in motherhood, and I have learned that every baby CAN get better sleep!

I bought an hour consultation with Susannah. She was great! I have a 16 month old who was waking up on average 4 times per night. My husband and I honestly felt really hopeless and beaten down. We actually only spent 30 minutes out of the hour so far and Susannah gave some very specific steps that we should try for our particular situation and set up. The best part was that it was very solution oriented and I felt no judgement. Another part that was very helpful was that she immediately said we would tackle just one waking at a time. This immediately gave me a sense of relief and hopefulness- I could definitely work on one waking- In my mind prior to the consultation I thought we would need to fix all 4 at the same time. After our 30 minutes I felt like I walked away with several strategies to implement for this first waking and it felt very empowering!
The first night was actually really difficult but we stayed the course. The subsequent nights the baby slept through the night and has continued to do so. We are in shock!

I had taken multiple online courses from various providers, I follow every major pediatric sleep consultant on social media, it felt like I was doing all the things, but still my child had never taken a nap longer than 45 minutes no matter what I tried (and I tried it ALL). Because I felt like I had tried everything already, I booked this phone consultation with little expectation that I would actually see results simply because I thought I had already done everything I could, but booked it as a desperate last resort as a way to be sure I’ve actually tried everything. Ashley had walked me through multiple suggestions. LITERALLY the day after our call, having implemented just the simplest of her suggestions, bam – 2 hour naps. My only regret is not booking sooner, and for a longer time than just 30 min so that I didn’t feel like I had to rush (that was my fault for booking the shorter session). But now I know if I have any other issues I won’t hesitate to book more time with Ashley. If you are on the fence, this is your sign to just do it! It’s worth it.
